I have been passionate about tutoring for five years. Around the same time, I received my high school diploma. After graduating from "Gymnasium", I was able to gain a lot of valuable experience at two different universities and in the commercial world.

But tutoring remains by far my best experience. Not only have I been able to help many students succeed at school, I have also learned a lot from them myself. I enjoy coaching the most because I can see first-hand how my students progress from week to week. One of them has been writing good math grades again for a long time, another has passed the entrance exam for high school - my students' learning success is also my success.

I believe that every student can determine the outcome of their future at school themselves. My focus is therefore on encouraging independence and instilling a love of learning. However, the necessary professional support should not be neglected either.

I gave my first tutoring lesson eight years ago. Since then, I have supported and taught more than 60 students.

From my own experience, I know that everyone needs help at some point and that there is nothing wrong with that. At the beginning of "Gymnasium", I didn't understand anything in math either, so I took intensive lessons with a private tutor. Afterwards, I was able to excel with my grades for years, successfully complete my "Matura" and gain valuable knowledge and experience at a Swiss university. Sometimes you just need a little (or even a big) push.

As every student thinks and learns differently, it is essential that I don't just work through a syllabus, but that I engage with the student in depth and exchange ideas with them. I adapt the lessons to their academic level, individual potential and personal maturity. The sustainable transfer of knowledge, the wide-ranging support and challenge of the young person and positive personal contact with the student are my top priorities.
